I’ve been working on finishing up a few of the Space Marines as of late, and managed to get the five man squad of intercessors finished off.
Why do models always look decent until they’re photographed? I can see so many bits that I missed and really should touch up, but prior to that I was really pleased with them! Oh well, nature of the perfectionist/creative, I suppose. We’re always hardest on ourselves.

The opening lyrics to Tom Sawyer by Rush immediately sprang to mind when I saw these pix π

Great painting Jenn- really like them. The modern digital camera with its macro capabilities can cast a harsh eye over the best of work… just think you are looking a photos on a screen several time larger than they are in real life. Don’t be hard on yourself over it.
Cheers,
Pete.

They look excellent. I think itβs pretty normal to be critical of your own minis when you see them without the smooth filtering of the mk1 eyeball.
