As a break from Orcs… I present an Orc.

A bit of a break from Orcs in terms of reading trashy Orc Smut novels, that has to count for something, right?

I had a nice long day off where the Kiddo was having a Grandma sleepover, Eloth was away with work and I was free to roam! So, I did a rare bit of painting!

I brought this model from MGSMiniatures on Etsy, base sprayed him one day and then did the rest! All in one day. Including the base!

It was good to paint something again, as it’s been a while. I just haven’t been making the time for miniature painting as much lately, which, I am sure I could if the inclination was there. In life, we can do anything but we cannot do everything. It was just a nice treat to be able to do something different. As always, it’s documented on the blog, which has shifted and changed as time has gone along.

I am still riding the Orc wave pretty high, I’ve asked MGS to print another Orc for me so, fingers crossed, I’ll have another one to share with you all soon.

Until then, keep hobbying!

  1. Its nice to get in and paint. I haven’t felt the urge to paint much lately, just little touches here and there. Nicely done, the orc is a cool model and you did a great job painting.

It did make a nice change of pace, that’s for sure.
I’ll have to try again in another couple of months time!!

Hope you manage to get some painting in soon.

    • I think that’s why I like the model.
Always good to see a fresh take on Orc.
Might have to play this guy when we next do a DnD campaign!
